After a long period of frustrated waiting, court petitions and numerous changes in dates, the final date of EAMCET 2012 Counselling has been decided by State Govt. The AP State Council of Higher Education will be releasing a notification on August 20 regarding the Counselling process which will have its first phase of Document Verification on August 27.
According the current schedule, the ONLINE Counselling will be done from August 27 to September 12. And theclasses will commence from September 17. Owing to a disagreement between the Govt. and Private College Managements over the fee structure, EAMCET 2012 Counselling got a delay of one complete Month.
The Govt. has set Rs. 35000 upper limit on student expenditure on the fee reimbursement scheme. However, managements of 60 colleges might approach SC against this decision of Govt. The Govt. has in turn decided to crackdown the colleges not following the AICTE norms.
